  Ive had this place bookmarked for a while because I saw it on a list somewhere of having amazing burgers. Finally had the chance to go and I'm upset I have not had this sooner because it is pretty much right down the street from me. The food was purely delicious! They actually have a lot of things on the menu from breakfast, to hot dogs, tacos, burgers, subs, and more.
  
  This is the type of food I love with lots of fresh, different, and delicious flavors. Between three people, we ordered the signature tacos that come in 3, the toston steak burger, and their steak mofonguito (also comes in 3). The tacos came out first and it looked so good. You can see every ingredient and it was just the perfect bite once you eat it. You could taste the steak, all the toppings, sauce, and tortilla. Next was the toston burger and it was massive. The toston buns were perfectly fried with a crispy bite and they were not overly oily. The steak was seasoned well and again, the sauces on this burger were great. The vegetables added a great refreshing component. The last thing we got were probably my favorite. The mofonguitos! Plantain cups filled with hot steak, melted cheese, and pico de gallo. It was like a giant delicious nacho.
  
  I honestly did not expect too much because this place is located in an actual gas station! But man I left thinking this is one of the best places I have had in so long. The balanced and tasty flavors left my stomach and tastebuds so satisfied. It's not healthy food by any means but sometimes you need that kind of cheat meal and this place hit the spot.  Food was so on point and each item was made with attention to details. Prices were more than reasonable with majority of the items being $8. The man and woman working (assuming husband and wife but could be wrong) were so nice with smiles on their faces the whole time from beginning to end. Just a gem in Pembroke Pines that I will be more than happy to come back for again and again.

  Extraordinary! The tacos are delicious!
  Service is great. the best tacos I've had thus far,
  I'll definitely be back and will be trying some more items from the menu.

  Not sure what the fuss is about.  A very overdone burger, not ripe tomato on a nice bun.  Wings were meh -they didn't put any sauce on them...communication was not good. We don't speak Spanish and they spoke NO English. But "sauce" "mild" seems pretty simple.  I may try again because either it was an off night or different people are running this highly touted establishment.

  It was a rainy weekend and we were not wanting to cook. Not wanting to do anything except veg out on the couch but then the hunger started. We turned to trusty Yelp! and my girl was thinking "burgers" so the journey began!  We stumbled upon Champions Cafe and for that moment, the skies cleared!
  
  It's true, it's in a gas station and that also makes it so endearing!  I've driven past this place hundreds of times and I've never know that this was a diamond in the rough.
  
  We walked in and couple had a massive amount of food...and they ate every bite so I knew that this place was what we needed. I opted for the Tornado burger. It was AMAZING!  Piled high with beef, cheese, cabbage, onion strings, the poor guy was held together with a skewer to keep all of that goodness in!  I immediately mashed it so that it was manageable!  
  
  My girl had the mushroom burger and it was Reilly's as delightful!  Dripping with cheese and mushrooms...I'm glad she had it or else my beard would've had leftovers!
  
  The kicker...they had a little box of sauces HOUSE MADE!  I couldn't decide on a favorite so I dipped fries in 6 little piles of sauce!  I can't wait to go back and try another drool inducing item. CHECK OUT CHAMPIONS!

  They say "a picture is worth a thousand words", so if you see the attached pictures it'll pretty much tell you about my experience here.  I ordered the champion burger, wanted it medium rare and I also asked for the egg to not be hard cooked and as you can see by the accompanying pictures that is not what I got at all. I messaged and let the manager know about my experience and he said he would like me to come back and give it another try, on the house. I thought that was very nice but I have since texted 3 times asking him when I might be able to take him up on that offer and guess what..no response back. So, I'll put this on my not to return list which is disappointing because I usually like to support small local businesses (and let my friends and families and fellow Yelpers know about them) especially those that are close to my house.
